We are seeking a Software Engineer for our Device Management team. The candidate will be working as part of a small, dynamic team and will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing Centralized Device Management - related functionality.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong software systems design skills and familiarity with the current industry best practices
  • Experience programming in Java, Spring Framework & Maven
  • Experience with HTTP, REST, XML, JSON, JAX-RS, JAXB
  • Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, JPA, Hibernate
  • Strong experience with Unit Test frameworks (JUnit, EasyMock, etc...)

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience developing Device Management Systems
  • Experience creating Web UIs using: JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, client frameworks (jQuery, ExtJS, etc..). HTML5 is a big plus.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols, SNMP
  • Highly desired: experience with MongoDB, Apache Lucene.
  • Experience with Apache Velocity, Jasper Reports
  • Experience with VMWare
