Gigamon Announces the GigaVUE® 420 Data Access Switch
Gigamon continues rapid growth and substantial success by helping network managers solve complex remote monitoring problems by listening to their needs Silicon Valley, CA - January 22, 2008 Gigamon Systems, manufacturer of the GigaVUE® Data Access Switch supporting secure remote network monitoring, continues its development growth by responding to customer requests and announces the GigaVUE® 420. Gigamon has been shipping products for over two years and has become the leading supplier of secure remote data access technology. Gigamon’s out-of-band data access solution, supporting all data rate and media choices including 10-Gigabit, remains the market leader in providing secure and customized access for network management tools needed to monitor today’s complex and remote networks. The Gigamon technology team, headed by CTO Patrick Leong, has come up with a significant upgrade to the GigaVUE® platform with the new GigaVUE® 420, which stands for “4” 10-Gigabit ports and “20” Gigabit ports with four hot-swappable slots.
