Gigamon Wins Best of Show Grand Prix at Interop Tokyo 2013
June 19, 2013 - GigaVUE-HD4 Grabs Top Spot in the Management, Monitoring and Testing Category
Silicon Valley, CALIF., June 19, 2013 – Gigamon® (NYSE: GIMO), a leader in traffic visibility solutions with the innovative Visibility Fabric™ architecture, announced today that it has won the Best of Show Grand Prix award in the Management, Monitoring and Testing category at Interop Tokyo 2013. The Grand Prix award was presented to Gigamon by Nano Opt Media and a panel of IT industry experts. Gigamon’s solution won based on judging criteria that included live Performance Optimization and ShowNet demonstrations. Gigamon’s GigaVUE-HD4 was also deployed in the Interop Network Operations Center (NOC) providing network traffic visibility and traffic optimization for the monitoring tools at the show with the help of Gigamon partner, Bitrieve.

Gigamon Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering
June 11, 2013 - Milpitas, Calif. – June 11, 2013 – Gigamon Inc. (NYSE: GIMO), a leading provider of network traffic visibility solutions, announced today the pricing of its initial public offering of 6,750,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $19.00 per share. Gigamon is offering 4,500,000 shares and certain selling stockholders are offering 2,250,000 shares. Gigamon will not receive any of the proceeds from the sale of the shares being sold by the selling stockholders. In addition, Gigamon has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,012,500 additional shares of common stock from Gigamon. The shares are expected to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange on June 12, 2013, under the symbol “GIMO.”

Miller has been president and CEO of Pleasanton's Polycom (NASDAQ: PLCM) for two years this month. Before that company hired him he worked at IPC Information Systems LLC and Monster Worldwide Inc. He also worked at Cisco Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: CSCO), which bought "telepresence" business Tandberg ASA where Miller was CEO.
