GigaVUE®™ is an Out-of-Band Data Access Switch for data center networks, providing distributed connectivity for “out-of-band” monitoring tools such as IDS, sniffers, VoIP, application monitors and recorders. GigaVUE® is a modular 10/100/1000 and 10G Ethernet system that unobtrusively acquires and maps critical traffic from multiple data sources to multiple tools; it consists of one Base Unit and up to four 4-port GigaPORT/GigaTAP hot-pluggable modules, for a total of 20 ports and four 10G ports.

*Note - GigaVUE-MP was the first generation of the GigaVUE data access switch. It has been replaced by the GigaVUE-420 in order to provide better 10GigE support and more future enhancements. The GigaVUE-MP is now in limited availability only and is not recommended for new deployments.
