GigaStream Trunking

GigaStream is an innovative trunking technology used for load balancing network traffic to multiple monitoring tools. It introduces the ability to group up to eight ports on a GigaVUE-2404 into a logical bundle called a GigaStream that enables users to overcome tool port oversubscription. Create tool, xbtool, and stack GigaStreams. Achieve up to 80 Gbps of throughput with tool port trunking and 160 Gbps with GigaStream stack trunking.

Dynamic Load Balancing

GigaStream optimizes tool performance and security with dynamic load balancing. Dynamic load balancing maintains the integrity of sessions of traffic providing tools with complete flows. Keeping related packets together in complete sessions ensures tools get all the traffic they need to see for maximum security and performance monitoring.
